Want to learn how to dance? Want to perform in front of a large audience? Now is your chance! Join the Siena Athletics Dance Clinic and perform at halftime of the Men's Basketball game at the Times Union Center Thursday, January 21st. Registration and practice will begin at 5pm at the Times Union Center. Please meet in the box office. This is where you will be able to pick up the tickets you have purchased for the event. Please note that when you purchase the dance clinic participant ticket this will include a ticket to the game and an official dance clinic t-shirt for this individual. Your child will learn the dance from 5-6:30pm. We will meet you behind the band at 6:30pm to return your child to you and will meet them back there at 7:30 to take them to practice. Half time will take place at approximately 8pm.
The Dance Team clinic is in honor of Sophia Rossetti who passed away in 2010 from leukemia at age 6. Sophie loved life and loved music and dancing. She impacted so many lives, especially those of her friends at Veeder Elementary School in Colonie, NY. She will always be in our hearts and will never be forgotten. As a dance clinic participant, $5.00 of every registration will be donated to the “For the Love of Sophie” Foundation to help families in need of financial assistance during treatment at Albany Medical Hospital.
